God, this album. These buttery boys have done it again. This album perfectly balances upbeat and dance-y and swingy and dreamy and nostalgic. The name "The Buttertones" I think is meant quite literally, their dreamy doo-woopy guitar melodies (esp. on baby doll and Connie) and Richards rich syrupy deep vocals will have you melting fast like a pad of butter on a waffle hot off the iron. The faster songs will have you dancing those existential anxiety induced nights away in your alone in your room (pls tell me I'm not the only one). Basically what I'm trying to say is this band will make your life happier. Please do us all a favor and listen and support these dudes, because they're only going up from here. Larissa Pullen
